Privacy Notice
Version privacy-2026-06-16. Effective 16 June 2026.
1. Scope
This notice explains how ShareDroid handles personal data where we act as controller, such as website enquiries, customer admin accounts, billing contacts, support requests, and security communications.
Where ShareDroid processes end-user, device, badge, credential, biometric, or tenant configuration data on behalf of a customer, the customer is usually the controller and ShareDroid is the processor. That processing is covered by the Data Processing Agreement.
2. Data we collect as controller
- Contact details such as name, email, organisation, role, and support messages.
- Account details for customer administrators.
- Billing and subscription records.
- Security logs, audit records, device command metadata, and website technical logs.
- Legal acceptance records, including document versions, timestamp, IP address, and user agent.
3. Why we use it
We use personal data to provide and secure ShareDroid, create accounts, process subscriptions, respond to support, prevent abuse, maintain audit trails, comply with law, and improve the service.
4. Lawful bases
Depending on the context, we rely on contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligation, and consent where required. Marketing emails are separate from acceptance of service terms.
5. Sharing
We use trusted infrastructure and service providers to operate ShareDroid. Current key providers are listed in Security and Subprocessors.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for service operation, legal, billing, security, dispute, and audit purposes. Security and legal acceptance records may be retained after account closure where needed to evidence compliance.
7. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, or port your personal data. Contact support@sharedroid.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
